Fact #3

Today’s fact is that Fortune Favors the Bold. This means that you get luckier, the more audacious and daring you are in your life.

Some men take chances. Most men do not. The former group is going to have better luck with their lives than the latter one. It’s gonna leave the cowards in the dust, frankly.

We live in an unpredictable world, full of risks if you just stand still and do nothing. The safest alternative is to take a chance. Now, you can get burned if you don’t know what you’re doing. But even if you’re winging it, it’s still better to take a chance than to sit on your hands hoping for the best.

Daring actions generate their own kind of luck. This applies to both legal and illegal activities — it runs the gamut across the board. When you put yourself out there, put yourself on the line, good things are likelier to happen to you.

Why is this? Well, the universe is a permissible place. If it is within the laws of physics, it can be gotten away with. The key thing to remember is that resistance to your idea is weaker than you suppose. You can change things. You can rearrange things. It’s just a question of mind over matter.

If you can visualize it, you’re halfway there to succeeding. The future opens up like a flower for those who bring a bright enough light on it.

Uncertainty and fear are the life-killers. If you are full of uncertainty and fear, then nothing you do is going to help you — you are sabotaging yourself royally. The confident rogue has an easier time of it than the conservative accountant. He makes his own way in this world.

The universe is like a toy meant to be played with. It can be bent and twisted into new positions, unpretzeled and repretzeled up, manipulated to high heavens.

Particularly human beings can be changed to suit your whims.

The average person wants to go along to get along. He’ll go along with your idea if you present it convincingly enough. This applies to one individual and it applies to large groups of people. Charisma is a real force in the world. Boldness in interpersonal activities is leveraged by charisma to create its own vibe, its own glassy smooth surface to skate on.

If you are wandering through a strange building and come across a backpack on the ground, it’s theoretically possible that somebody is nearby and will assault you if you touch the backpack. But it’s more likely that if you act quickly and seize the moment, grabbing the backpack and making off with it, you’ll get away with the theft completely.

If you are living in an apartment building and you test the doors, and one door is unlocked, there is a good chance that it was left unlocked by the renter in question. You can probably go into his room and do what you want there without fear of being interrupted.

Now, there is no guarantee that these things will work out. But they probably will. Remember, the universe is a permissible place. If you push, things will fall off the table. If you pull, things will come to you.

Pushing & pulling are analogous to having a pulley and a cord and moving the cord up and down in logical increments, nothing standing in your way. For, to be truthful, so often in life nothing is standing in your way. The road ahead is a superhighway completely absent of cars. While others are cowering down, hoping for the best, you can breast the space ahead and forge a new path to the future. Fortune favors the bold always.

  1. I have to say that I never dared too much, I made some attempts, but in the end that existential tranquility always prevailed which, even if it didn’t lead to anything, at least didn’t give me problems if things went badly…
